I don't want an owner's manual for the information in it as I do have the Ford manual. Until recently it was my belief the 2005-2007 models only came with the Ford owners manual until I saw a photo of an actual Avanti manual supplied by Avanti Motors. So I would like to find the Avanti manual to put in my 2006.

Lets try #2 $492 as that would seem like a decent cost for the upgrade.

Can you get me the brand and specs on the evaporator coil that I see mounted behind the vertical console plate? Where to buy it, etc. I'm adding a/c to my 1964 R2 and have the compressor, drier, and condensor already mounted. I'm trying to retain the original heat/defrost system as-is. THANKS in advance, Andy

You're working too hard. Just buy one of the 3 step kits and follow the instructions. I've used various brands over the past 40 years and they all have done the job and are still in operation. Should cost approx $100.00.

Check that…. The diameter of rear sway bar on the ‘85’s is larger…. I believe you need their part number 1702280. Front bar larger also

Starline is almost done. Resto mod with 350 AT, Turner disc brakes, getting ready for AC. As nice as they come but not an Avanti.

Extremely low mileage, (under 10K) refurbished after long term storage. Excellent car, well sorted. White, tan leather Recaro's. New from radiator to reconditioned gas tank. Excellent torque boxes and frame as you would expect on this low mileage car. Working Moonroof that seals tight. All options, sold new by West Palm Beach Rolls Royce Dealer. Paperwork from new. New repro Halibrands and Halibrand speinners from Dan Booth. New tires. Lots of videos and pictures. ECM removed by previous owner, now sporting small cam, performance intake and Holley carb. Selling to finish my 1953 Studebaker Starliner Hardtop. One of the two must go. I'd rather keep the Avanti and if it doesn't sell and the '53 gets done that will be the one to go down the road.

Hello all, does anyone have a source for the rubber bushings for stabilizer bars from rear axle to frame?

Not yet. I've got a good laundry list of repairs and upgrades, but building a house and garage has kept me from getting to them. I did temporarily "fix" it with some weatherstrip cement.

I’ve never driven my car in cold weather where I needed the rear window defroster. Not sure if it even works. I’m thinking the tint would be of more benefit. Mike

With the Avantis huge rear window, tinting it makes good sense for some sun/heat deflection!
