When I read the header, I thought for sure it was going to be a Bra question
-
Nope, always pot metal
-
Anniversary models were different.
-
No. it is multiplied by the rocker arm ratio, 1.5:1 times
-
He (had) a GT Hawk. no longer
-
No, it's Jaque
-
True the 4 speed is like a GM . It is a bullet that holds the gear, and the cable screws onto it . Much like the speedometer head end does.http://thumbs3.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/mb-gZQFBD4m6P2OjHG30tdg.jpg

I think you read more into this than was intended. And as for posting a tutorial on repair, I'm very busy. This is not a hobby for me, sorry you were offended. When I get a little time, I will try to write something up, that is comprehensive.
There are many, many different opinions on repair. Just look up one that you think may work on youtube. I don't presume to know any better than anyone else, so I won't bore you all and say my way is any better than someone else may have done.
Thanks, Happy New Year

The Hawk/coupes, are much more laid rearward than the Avanti's.
-
They were pretty much across the board for I believe 61 and up cars. I think it's an added insurance against what they must have perceived as a trouble area.
-
Silence the intake a little more.?
-
I don't think you are correct Every R series came with the 40 amp as standard.
-
Lowey designed the logo.
-
It was redesigned so it sucked cooler air, and not right off the exhaust manifold.
-
And the editor Thom Gipe has won numerous "Golden Quill" awards for it too
-
I think Scripto made those novelty pens that SI used to sell, that had the Avanti "floating" down the street when you tipped the pen.
-
False, the Larks, and Hawks also got the 40 amp ALT when R engine equipped
-
Black steering wheel?
-
I think the last vehicle built was a postal Zip Van, but back to your question, it was the Avanti (I think)
-
No, the Hawks had a different bend to them.
-
Well, the rear harness plugs into the main harness, as does the header (over head switches), and the turn signals too if one really wanted to get technical.
-
I think Swedish is correct, but shouldn't it be Commander steel? after all they were originally from the commander 6 (same part #)
-
The early pre 53 cars had Dana 41 axles and were narrower than the 53 and up Dana 44's No, it will be wrong
-
well, early 63 non R series short blocks had plugs screwed into the machined base where the oil filter adapter would mount. I would think the R series short blocks would have the R series pistons, therefore be different than the standard replacement short block. I would say false in the case of R engines.

False they are powered too. Or at least the one in my shop right now is!
