Well, we know it can't be the Govt. mandated 'fan on' whenever the car is running.

And it certainly isn't - Cabin air Filtres.

Let me think about this ..............🤔

flow thru ventilation for heater, no fan initially necessary

Avantis do have an air filter for the Climatizer.

Haven't ever heard "climatizer" used in reference to Stude Avanti heater/defroster units..but that's OK, I understand what you mean!

Really? Maybe you need to read Avanti literature.

Climatizer is listed as standard equipment.

Both the parts catalog and shop manual have sections on the Climatizer.

The shop manual has directions on how to service the air filter.

Now that you understand do you agree an Avanti has an air filter like the 1963 Larks?

All's I know is my '88 did Not have a 'cabin Filter'! 🤕
