Alan Blalock
Good morning. I have a 1964 Avanti that was a repaint from a previous owner. It is now Maroon, that appears to be a original color. I am looking for a paint supplier that can match this color in a rattle can. The areas in question are not entirely in clear view, but it would be nice to have them appear to be the same color. Thank you in advance. studegary
I would try Chevrolet Honduras Maroon. That should be available in spray and I believe that it is a close match to the Studebaker color. The Studebaker's original paint was lacquer, but I do not know about your repaint
wapanzica
Try Rollie Williams Paint Spot in Elkhart, IN https://rolliewilliams.com/ . They provide paint for places like Studebaker International. The owner is a board member at the SNM and a member of the SDC. I think they have that color in spray cans. It's always a good idea to use a Stude/Avanti supplier but if you can't, most any quality auto paint shop can color match and provide spray cans. 64studeavanti
TCP Global may be a good resource. They have an extensive library of colors and can provide acrylic lacquer.
