    Avanti Values?

Tough question, as lately it seems like collector car selling prices in general are down. Of course, there’s always exceptions!
  8. So, we have the Original '63-64's, Following that comes a slew of '65-85?'s , then the 2001-2007's. The question is what are the average sell prices in all 3 categories? Please if possible break to down into those 3 segments. Lets use a 1-10 category and yes a 7 as a focus point..Not a perfect method by any means but an educated guess is desired.
  9. Payment by PayPal is done Dwight. Please confirm. / Many thanks, Paul

  23. Morning Dwight, mentioned price for booster and shipment is fine with me… very friendly… thank you! I will investigate, call the bank to find out how to transfer the money to you. Do have a Master creditcard and a PayPal account. / Paul
  24. Somehow I never saw this response, sorry. Should you (or anyone) still need AC parts, while i've sold everything else, I do still have the compressor and will take $150 plus shipping. Most likely converted to R134 and I have service shop paperwork stating that.

  26. Thanks everyone for the info! I did not want to go the NOS route and was hoping for new rubber. Left town yesterday morning and got back 45 min. ago from a car show -- only Avanti there among >100 cars. Some folks knew what they were looking at; many did not. "Looks like James Bond's car!" "Uhh - OK" "Studebaker's original production used their 289ci motor for two of the versions they offered." "Oh, they used a Ford Motor." "Next!" Enjoy life, everyone! And, thanks again!
  27. Hi, Paul, If you want I'll go ahead and mail the booster to Studebaker International, along with a note so they will know what to do with it. The price (to me) will be $95.70, including shipping. In the meantime we'll figure out how to get the money to me. One way: A check in US funds mailed to me would be fine. --Dwight
  28. Not to go off topic, but this relates to NOS rubber too: One of our vendors in Michign is selling NOS steering "rag" joints for Avantis, reasoning that "you don't want to lose your steering; that would be very dangerous." True, it would be very dangerous if my rag joint suddenly broke. But, the rag joint I received from him (for $175 !) looks exactly like the one in my previously neglected '63 Avanti project car. That is, the rag joint in my Avanti shows no sign of deterioration. So, why replace it ? --Dwight
  29. Brad, man do I agree with you!
  30. Dear Dwight, :-)… I’ve checked your measurements against mine… the wrong booster and the bracketry from SA and yes… your booster will fit. Pictures are okay… overall fine. With other words… you made my day! Please tell me what you have in mind. Regards, Paul
