Looking for Starter Bolts for 1963 Avanti

Looking for 2 starter bolts for my 63 Avanti. The parts manual just says special bolts. Look long, 1/4 in diameter? and have a straight screwdriver head? I will buy them from you plus pay shipping. None on my car.

I assume you are looking for the two bolts that hold the starter onto the bellhousing?  Those bolts don't have a screw slot, they have a hex head (3/4 - 13/16").  They are rather large, closer to 1/2 inch in diameter.

In order to not have them your starter would have to not be on the engine.  Sorry, I don't have and loose starter bolts, just thought I would pass on some info.

Thanks for the description. No, my starter is not on the bell housing. I got the car in pieces, I am working on putting the engine together. Many bolts are missing.

You can take a measurement. Starter collar/flange + Bellhouse. 2 Bolt and nut. If bolts are little bit too long - does not matter.

I'm pretty sure he's asking for the through bolts from the end plate through the main armature housing into the nose piece.
