Anybody know if the host hotel, Country Inn & Suites, provides trailer parking.

Off topic,...but I wondered why the AOAI isn't having it's International at Warwick, RI with the Studebaker group?

AOAI has done "stand alone" IM's before, the last being in Gettysburg in 2011, held in conjunction with a Studebaker Zone Meet.

Don't know the last time AOAI had a national meet on the east coast, I've been away from the club for awhile, but I remember meets years ago in Southern CA, Sacramento CA, and Seattle WA. Some may have been regional meets though.

Sorry to see the split, I like the joint meets. I'll have to skip KC and only go to Warwick.

The AOAI held its 2014 meet in Dover, DE. Dover Downs was a great host. The only negative was the brutal heat experienced.

The 2011 meet was held in Gettysburg, PA.

Joint meets: 2012. South Bend

2014. Dover

2015 St Louis

2017 South Bend

2018. Seattle ?

AOAI will have a presence in RI but no board meeting

Official AOAI meet will be a stand alone event in Kanas City.

The reason that the meets are separate is that SDC was very slow in deciding on a meet for 2016. I'm having the same problem, after the study about what we want for a format at national meets, they are still throwing darts at the program. The clock is ticking WE NEED a decision so we can start our search for a venue read hotel. Lou Cote

AOAI needs a stand alone occasionally for revenue. In the joint events SDC gets the registration income thus banquets, shirts, etc are all AOAI can receive. It's true SDC has more of the expense and provides meeting rooms so sometimes it's moot.
