I am considering buying an Avanti but have never sat in one. I am 6 ft 3 in and many smaller cars don’t work for me. I am in Raleigh NC if anybody has one nearby. Thank you. Jeff

I’m 6’3” and the Avanti has legroom to spare.  The issue can be whether you have big thighs…it can be a pain sliding your right leg under the steering wheel.

I am 6'5" and have a 1963/64 Avanti. I am also 80 years old so getting that low into a seat is a problem, but I'm ok after I get in.  My Avanti is an automatic and all works fine driving.  Years ago I looked at an Avanti with a standard transmission.  When I tried to put my foot on the clutch, my knee hit between the door and steering wheel.  I could not operate that car.

Some taller folks have found the Studebaker Avanti driver's seat adjustment range a bit limited, and have cured this by extending the ends of the seat tracks to get the seat to go further back.

I’m 6’5 (or I used to be before I had both knees replaced). To get in my 83 with Ricarros I put my butt in first, then roll my legs in. Once in, plenty of leg room for me.
Is there a club near Raleigh where Jeff could go check some out?  Mike
