brad Posted February 9, 2023 Report Share Posted February 9, 2023 early impellers were magnesium and more desireable as they put less stress on the output shaft. Later versions the impeller was aluminum. If you do have an early magnesium version closely inspect it for corrosion and cracks. They are not as durable in the long run.
