Paxton supercharger housings are made of....?......

1) pot metal (white metal).....2) steel.....or.....4) aluminum

Ed will probably say #3 is the right answer:rolleyes:, but I'll try #4) aluminum (even though I've never had a Paxton myself, I've seen them polished up and they sure look like aluminum :)).

early impellers were magnesium and more desireable as they put less stress on the output shaft. Later versions the impeller was aluminum. If you do have an early magnesium version closely inspect it for corrosion and cracks. They are not as durable in the long run.

So, an early Kaiser unit may have a magnesium impeller?
