64studeavanti Posted February 4, 2022 Report Share Posted February 4, 2022 (edited) R1s were rated at 240. I believe that 300hp 327 Corvette engines were used in early Avanti IIs. So, the math would say 60. My guess is that they were comparing it to the 225 version of the Stude engine. Therefore, I will say 2) 75. Gunslinger & Regnalbob have the correct answer here (3).....I agree 100 (or nearly 100) is a bit optimistic over the R1's advertised 240 HP!
