RQB3263/81/305 .... Well here is the final (i hope) on my p/s ordeal .... after consultation with many gurus good luck ...and help from our Florida contributor I finally ended up with several.... but the bottom line is ....direct replacement is hard to find ....in good condition ..... I now have two in my spare parts cabinet for anyone needs one but both in need of overhaul .... the pumps are fine its the reservoir that get damaged and is hard to find with the proper straight in return tube ..... ok so much for that.... A contributor suggested from a 70s vintage Buick from O Rielies auto parts .. I Checked it out and no go.... SO HERE IS MY SOLUTION ... late 70s SAAB 900 ... direct fit ...straight return tube all good ....I got one on ebay in good cond for $100 delivered .... .best wishes and happy Valentines day all ....BILL IN FLORIDA

MY RESERVOIR CAN IS DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR AND LEAKING ..... THE MAIN DIFFERENCE AS BEST I CAN TELL IS THE FLUID RETURN TUBE ON THE CAN IS STRAIGHT AND ACCORDING TO A GURU WAS MODIFIED BY AVANTI .... I RECENTLY yesterday deleted (removed) the A/C from 3263 .... yaaa crazy but i actually only used it a couple times ...and it was in the was in the way of my other upgrades (if thats what you want to call them).... so i have for sale the entire system except the evaporator and thats just tooo much trouble to remove .... actually the condenser is still installed but goes with the sale along with all the brackets and hardware for a 305 SBC chevy the aluminum A6 compressor is about a year old and i have all paperwork on its installation..........all working when removed ....BTW all the hoses have been cut .... so h bottom line is ........ $950.00 cash and you come to FLORIDA in January ....and help me remove the condenser ....keep in touch ....BILL in MELROSE, FLORIDA ... 386-466-6434

RQB3263/81/305 2026 UPGRADES IN PROGRESS ... ceramic coated flowteck rams horn headers and reducers to be delivered today.... valve covers delivered yesterday very nice but pricey gaskets are extra ......with all the old stuff removed getting new spark plugs is easy also.... checked headbolt torque done..... question .... using these beautiful edelbrock valve covers ...... what do I do for an oil fill cap ?? I just found a couple questions from October ?? the paint color is "diamond blue metallic ..original .... now thats the good news ..Suberu code 80 ...is a perfect match and no special mixing req... perrrfect been on there 10+ yrs now... the electric fan is 16" 12 volt off the shelf and is wired into the A/C compressor... on when a/c is on ....
