Gloria Grahame?
Gina Gershon?
Gladys George died in 1954, so I doubt it was her.
Greer Garson?
GREER GARSON it was!!...Her husband bought her a new '63 Studebaker Avanti in late 1962!

Actually, the answer here is FALSE....the nominal compression ratio of a Studebaker/Paxton R4 engine is 12.0 to 1!

Actually, on second thought, the B-number was stamped in the rear.
You know your R3's Lew...except for Avanti 63R-1025, (HRM car), which contains an early 299CI R3, modified at Paxton Products where they began with a stock R2...... It still carries the R2 (RS) engine serial number at the front of the block only.....Answer..FALSE!

Greta Garbo? Gloria Gaynor?
I have no earthly idea if Greta Garbo owned an Avanti (or whether she was even alive when they came out), but I will......"go with Greta".
Nope!...It wasn't Greta Garbo or Gloria Gaynor!

The highest serial number assigned to a Studebaker Avanti was/is R-5652.....True?
-
As did several other famous personalities, an actress with the initials G.G. took delivery of a brand new '63 Studebaker Avanti back in the day.....What was that actress's name?

The actual flap door on later Avantis was larger than on the earlier '63 models
You got it!!....I believe there was also a change made to the seals that are stapled to those flaps.

But really true, since the Avanti rear sway bar will not fit without modification to the Hawk... ie: welding brackets to the top of the Hawk frame rails.
It's true that without those brackets welded to the Hawk the bar cannot be mounted, on the other hand, the bar will physically fit onto the Hawk WITH those brackets installed!.....How about true AND false on this one??!!

Well, I think Regnalbob 'said it all' on this question....Answer....FALSE!.....(Well Done!)
