Ok,
I give. You acknowleged the return of black. We know that maroon was a late 64 color. I have read that grey was added early.
What else are you looking for?
-
The one posted from S.I. is the same one I have.
-
My 64 has round ring. It is very late build date just before close of line.
-
I believe maroon was a late color.

Also the fresh air vents below the windshield from 1 to 2.

We should count the one at the voltage regulator as well.
What about the supression spark plug wires?
-
Which one did I not count? I had 4 for each of the looms, 3 for each of the spark plug shields, the distributor shield and the often missing bracket for it. Are you counting the noise supressing capacitor?
-
I count 16, so I will guess 2) 17.

The 76 dash has a 4.25 inch cutout for the steering column vs 3 inch for the Stude. The Stude instrument panel will hide most of the difference except for about 3/8 of an inch or so at the bottom on each side.
I also checked the speaker opening and they appear to be the same.
I bought a replacement from SI in 2007 at the International meet. Do they still have them?
-
I don't think it is much. If no one beats me to it, I will get measurements tomorrow afternoon.
-
Isn't the cutout for the steering column a little larger as well?
-
63R4551 did not have windshield washer either. Maybe not so common an option.

Cream sickles (sp).

Still waiting on turkey, so I'll bite. The cast iron T10 seems pretty heavy so i guess 105 lbs.

FWIW, I finally found a Studebaker reference to the number 60 mount. It is on page 39 in the engine section of the workshop manual. Why the parts manual does not show a different part number for Avanti vs other V8s may never be known.
-
I am of the opinion that the through bolt is a good idea. However, I can find no document indicating a difference between Avanti and other V8 motor mounts. Other than the authenticty guide I also see no reference to #60 motor mounts for Avanti or #40 for other V8s. Can anyone provide a Studebaker document clarifying this?
-
The motor mount issue is very confusing. The Avanti parts manual shows 533296 for the Avanti mounts which is the same part number for other V8s. Was there a service letter or some other document listing this change? Where did the info come from that went into the authenticity guide?

So, the cardboard is inside the tube?
-
Can any one elaborate on where and how the cardboard was used? Enquiring minds want to know.
-
I would say false. The door locks were sourced from Mercedes. The brakes were licensed from Dunlop. Not sure if they were made in the U.S.

Rear pump.
-
Are you thinking of the outer most groove on the crank and water pump pulleys?
-
Check on the the the sdc website. There is a post about a NOS one that might be available

This is correct.

If not already taken, I could use it. Where in Fl are you? I am just south of Tampa.
