  2. I was wondering the same thing as tcgoesch, what is the correct part, and who sells them?
  3. This is from a Parts & Price List dated March 1, 1963.

  6. Looking for ownership entries for either Avanti # 63R-1830 or Robert T. Coles, Buffalo NY. He was an early owner of R1830. I have one line from 1996, but have no earlier rosters Thanks
  7. Hello. want to arrange payment for the license plate frame.

    Thanks

  8. Brad - where can the correct gasket for the cover bolts be found?
  9. Yesterday
  10. The accessory AC-3508 says it's for all 1964 passenger cars except Avanti.
  11. I'm new to the group and I am hoping that maybe someone has a stock 4 speed shifter that they are not using. I know that a lot of people are using the Hurst Competition Plus shifter, but I would like a factory shifter. Much appreciated!
  12. Last week
  13. Thank-you!
  14. Message me on this forum's message system (click on my icon to start) and we can set up payment and mailing arrangements.
  15. Thanks for the info. Want to purchase the frame. How to proceed? Thanks
  16. Yes. I used thin plywood and pressure clamps. Picture is the roof but used same process.
  17. Studebaker offered this as an accessory. AC-3508 Flarestat Safety Signal Light Kit for $10.75.
  18. The ‘70 Avanti I had was equipped with what must have been an aftermarket 4-way flasher unit. Believe me…it was an abomination of wires and connections under the dash. If you’re compelled to have one…I would think Dan Booth at Nostalgic Motors is the guy to talk to.
  19. No, sorry, not $3,875!
  20. I remember years ago there was an aftermarket flashing hazard lights kit that could be adapted to Stude Avantis (and probably any other vehicle from that period).. before the government made them mandatory.
  21. I was wondering if anyone has added a hazard light option (both turn signals flashing) to Studebaker built Avanti? Early on in my ownership of this car would have been helpful, less needed now. From experience it's a nice safety feature.
  22. I'm positive there were at least $3,875.00 spent on it. I'm guessing that was the extent.
  23. Uncle?
  24. Regarding my posts on Door mounted 'Intrusion Bars'- Thanks for the input, everybody. Unless Steel tube/bar is embedded in the doors during layup, I suppose their presence is still indeterminate. I was hoping somebody with knowledge from the factory floor might chime in. I may push this query on the SDC Chat pages to see if a wider audience may shine some light on the subject.
  25. Hm, unfortunate they couldn't make it work. I frequently create stickers on my Silhouette by importing JPEGs into the program. I should think that would work for most image formats so long as the image file is a high enough resolution/dpi. This is just an example: https://www.blacksheep303.com/basic-image-tracing-silhouette-studio/
  26. Not $5660…. but you’re going in the right direction!
  27. Thank you all for this info it really helps -I will look at it when I get it back from the mechanic doing the other work . For the 3 M Bond did you use some sort of clamp?
  28. Thanks I had it rebonded on a few years ago so will probably have to be done again I can’t imagine the hinge itself awakening cause it’s metal so I’m wondering if it’s the fiberglass around it Thank you very much for responding and for the advice and information
