Warped defroster ducts

I imagine every Avanti out there has this problem as both of mine have warped defroster ducts. My solution was to take a piece of 1/8" aluminum ( old road sign) cut strips 3/8" wide and mill 1/4" slots to make wedge to hold opening open. Hope you find this helpful.

Excellent solution- well done, MFG. 🫡

I suppose for those without Milling Machines, a series of holes might do, although hardy souls might elongate these with a round file.
