mfg
In 1960, Paxton Products offered short nosed centrifugal automotive superchargers in both self contained and direct oiling form…. True?
Nelson
Not for certain but I’m going to say true. SN60 would be 1960 and I know they had external oiling systems earlier (engine oil) and self contained available for sure.
A0136
I had an SN60 that was stamped SN60 DO. It had an oil pressure line fitting where the dipstick would go and a drain fitting on the bottom. I ran it for a while and then replaced it with a self contained SN60. The engine oil made the supercharger hot hot all the time. Steve

brad
DO versions were generally yellow. One I had was very clean, but I could see how it would be a problem on neglected maintenance.
