Nelson Posted July 28 Report Posted July 28 Not for certain but I’m going to say true. SN60 would be 1960 and I know they had external oiling systems earlier (engine oil) and self contained available for sure.
A0136 Posted July 28 Report Posted July 28 I had an SN60 that was stamped SN60 DO. It had an oil pressure line fitting where the dipstick would go and a drain fitting on the bottom. I ran it for a while and then replaced it with a self contained SN60. The engine oil made the supercharger hot hot all the time. Steve

brad Posted August 5 Report Posted August 5 DO versions were generally yellow. One I had was very clean, but I could see how it would be a problem on neglected maintenance.
