After doing extensive searches I have come up empty in my quest to find brackets for this alternator (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/TFF-7937BST) and this A/C compressor (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/TFF-4517NCDP)

With all the modifications I am adding to the electrical system (Sniper EFI, electric steering, A/C, stereo, electric fan and more) I need to up the amps.

I am trying to fit this on a 1963 289 R1 with A/C.  Summit said this would work (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/UAC-45002900FC) for the A/C compressor but the brackets are too wide for the feet on the compressor.

Before I design and make my own brackets, I am reaching out here to see if anyone else has found a solution to mount this combination of alternator and A/C compressor in their Avanti.  There are plenty of solutions for Hawks, Larks and Avanti IIs, maybe someone has adapted one of those?

Thanks, Tom

Is there an appropriate sized compressor to suit the bracket?

Alternatively could you install spacers to take up any slack?

Ebay has many mounting plates for York to Sanden swap for little money and also no effort.  This one for $50

This York to Sanden mounting plate is available from many sources and works well. I've made the conversion.

Having said that, you still need the OEM Alternator/AC Compressor bracket that the York compressor bolted to. The York to Sanden  conversion bracket has the same bolt pattern as the York compressor, and bolts to the original Alternator/AC Compressor bracket, positioning / mounting the Sanden compressor. As I recall, the slotting in the conversion bracket is for aligning the pulley/belt of the Sanden compressor.

I have the Protofab bracket and it is too tall for my 64 Avanti.  The hood hits with the compressor installed.   I ended up making my own.   I will sell the Protofab bracket for half price if someone can use it on another Stude.
