Jred
Sprung a leak in this mechanism just now. Haven’t had a chance to examine it more thoroughly but I’m guessing there’s a pin hole leak there.
studegary
That is the heater control valve. They are $90 new. Depending on the problem, it may be able to be repaired/rebuilt.

Avanti83
Studebaker International. Looks like you need a list of Stude Vendors. https://www.studebakervendors.com/ The go-to vendors for Avanti's are Dan Booth @ Nostalgic Motors and Myers Studebaker but SI among many that handle a wide variety of Avanti parts. Jred
Ended up ordering the heater control valve from Nostalgic Motors. Very helpful and knowledgeable over the phone. looks like the rubber bushing in the valve plunger gave up the ghost.
