1963 Avanti Strato-Vue Mirrors

I want to assemble strato-Vue outside rear view mirrors. Can someone tell me the distance to position the mirror on the R&L fender like in the photo.  Thanks in advance!

You might check with SDC's template collection at the SNM to see if there is a factory template for the proper location.  It seems like I remember reading about the proper location, but I do not remember where.

Actual size between dotted lines is 7 inches wide by 6.5 inches long.

Determine where the Passenger side goes FIRST. Then you can match that location to the Driver's side. Doing it ,Driver's side first, you run the risk of the two mirrors being in different locations in order to make them functional

The rear hole is pretty much even with the back edge of the hood.
