Referring to the 1963 Studebaker Avanti....what/who called the car "a Lark in a gilded cage"?

1) Playboy Magazine.......2) Thomas McCahill.....3) Road & Track Magazine.....or....4) Anthony Hogg

I think #2 would day something like that in his writing style.

I remember the quote, but not who said it.  It sounds like 2) McCahill.

EDIT:  I do not know about a "putdown".  It believe that it was quite factual.
