PackardV8 Posted January 10, 2019 Report Posted January 10, 2019 This is a gorgeous car and probably better in every respect than many of the nine original cars. Having said that, it's still a clone and that will matter to some evaluating whether it's a $140,000 car or not. jack vines
studegary Posted January 10, 2019 Report Posted January 10, 2019 That is an amazing Avanti. I think that he will be hard pressed to get his asking price, but it only takes one. Perhaps he is just trying to establish a "value" like decades ago when Joe Erdelac advertised 5643 in the NYT for $100K prior to donating it to the Crawford Museum. For the asking price, the ad should have been proofread. To me, spelling Loewy incorrectly is inexcusable in this case. I do not see an Avanti being classified as a "sub-compact", perhaps a compact.
Gunslinger Posted January 10, 2019 Report Posted January 10, 2019 I was just in Phoenix two weeks ago. If I had known I would have gone to look it over...not that I would have bought it...but would have looked it over just because.
mfg Posted January 10, 2019 Report Posted January 10, 2019 (edited) Besides everything else, turquoise over turquoise with the woodgrain and Halibrands has EXTREME eye appeal! Edited January 14, 2019 by mfg
Gunslinger Posted January 14, 2019 Report Posted January 14, 2019 Now I only have to sell the left one to afford it rather than both. ?
