studegary
Thanks for that page (that I do not believe that I have). It looks like the '63 Wagonaire that I owned for nine years. Mine was; Daytona, blue mist metallic, back up lights, wheelcovers, whitewalls, roof rack, blue bucket searts - plus - 289 V8, AT, ps, pdb, radio, heater, Sta-Bars, etc.
mfg
That is an outstanding advertisement!...I still have the one I picked up at my local Studebaker dealer SOOO many years ago! By the way, what does "Island In The Sun" refer to?
r1lark
Studebaker advertised quite a bit in Boating magazine in '62 thru '64. Boating would have special advertising sections that had nice color ads, with a common "theme". Island in the Sun was the theme in the issue that the Avanti/Wagonaire ad was in. Here are some more Studebaker items from Boating magazine: Edited February 25, 2017 by r1lark
1963r2
That looks an unusual colour for an Avanti in the first brochure. Any thoughts on the colour or is it a trick of the light ? pb
