Looking for Twin Traction Rear End

Looking for a Twin Traction w/ 3.55 gears for a 64 Avanti.  Located in South Bend, IN.  Anybody got one?

I have a friend that has a 3.31 TT from a '63 Hawk, is that the same as the Avanti rear?,,,

It would fit but it would not have traction bar mounts and that would be a problem.

I have one with 400 miles on it. I bought it new and tried it in my R-2 4 speed but it was a little sluggish starting off. I put my original one back in and the new one is sitting on a rack in my shop. I`m pretty sure it`s a 3.31

You can fabricate the mounts and weld them on. No big deal.

Thank you all for your help.  We are thing about the option in NC but that is a long drive.  I think we may have options in the Midwest.

The traction bar mounts have been reproduced and can be welded on.  Dave Thibeault in MA should still have them.
