  1. While blocking off the exhaust crossover seem like a good solution, it will make your exhaust sound very harsh. I tried it on my car and changed it back because of the sound. I made a heat blanket when I restored my car. I used ironing board material with 1/8" foam sewn between. That material isn`t fireproof, but it will withstand a great deal of heat.
  2. Please click on the link(PDF) at the top of the drawings.
  3. In Feb. 202 0 I posted everything you need to know about how to make your own power steering conversion. Electric Power steering.pdf
  4. I painted mine red because I thought it looked better. I know it should have been painted black, but I painted mine red anyway. The car was originally Gray and had been painted a gold color before I bought it. I decided to paint it a GM color, Marina Blue. I also added A/C and made electric power steering for it.I know these changes aren`t the way it came from the factory, but I think I have a better looking and driving car now.
  5. I have bought two of these and they are high quality and they have better valves,

I`m still suffering along with the 7250 but I always keep a battery tender on it so they seem to last longer.
  7. I have one with 400 miles on it. I bought it new and tried it in my R-2 4 speed but it was a little sluggish starting off. I put my original one back in and the new one is sitting on a rack in my shop. I`m pretty sure it`s a 3.31
