Fuel floats from Avanti 3506S & 3507S Carter AFB carburetors are not interchangeable.....True?

First time I saw this post. The floats probably will interchange but under high boost the R2 float has the potential to crush under pressure. If you take an R2 float apart you will find a honey comb support structure inside the float to prevent it from collapsing.

R2/3 floats are extremely hard to find. I have in the past, made them by soldering brass pins through the side of the floats to reinforce them.
