Dwight FitzSimons Posted November 1, 2022 Report Posted November 1, 2022 Perhaps because other manufacturers had evolved to a cable throttle, and carb manufacturers had also. IIRC, my '68 Firebird had a cable, whereas my '67 had linkage. --Dwight
