AnAvantiR1for Bob
Incredible amount of 1963 money (over $7.7 million in today's value) to be spent by Studebaker to promote their line for a company that knew they were going to pull the plug on auto production. Desperate times... True!....Apparently, the idea was the contest entrant HAD to take a new Studebaker out for a road test in order to make his entry valid. Hopefully, the entrant would actually be sold on the car and buy it.
