Have any of you removed one of these, if so, do you have any tips. Thanks.

Thank you, I was just thinking of having the covers shipped and having them installed here. I will call and ask.
-
Ischuc, thanks for information, do you have any pricing, and does she ship out of state? Thanks again.
-
1inxs, it was DaytonaR2 that got scammed, I only mentioned the price increase because it went up $200.00.

$30 to $40, look at frame and troughs.

It wasn't.

I have Dave Thibeault's Hurst in mine, it is 8" I have a larger than standard shift ball also.

Has anyone used Studebaker Intl. seat upholstery, if so, what did you think of it? Thank you.
-
Thanks, I will have it done by an upholstery shop. I understand what you are saying on the foam density and electric knife. I am debating purchasing the premade one from Studebaker Intl. or having the shop make it.
-
Thanks for response, the trim shops I have been in contact with seem to be scared of doing that.
-
I am sure this has been brought before, since there were over 4,000 of these made why has no one reproduced seat foam for these? You would think there would be a demand because of the car's age. Thank you.
-
If any of you have installed these, do you have any advice? Thank you.
-
Dwight, thanks for the picture, that is where mine is going to go when I get one.
-
Thank you both very much, my wife agrees with you on the placement.
-
I have looked at these $905.00 a set, pricy they were around $700.00 a few months ago. Thank you.
-
Did you ever talk to the upholstery lady, and how did it go? I am looking at redoing my 63. Thank you.
-
Anyone have a template for mounting one of these on the driver's door? Thank you.
-
Thanks, got something right for a change!
-
There are some pictures and how to protect the ignition switch under the dash.
-
Disregard, I got the thing in.
-
Anyone have suggestions for installation, especially overcoming the spring. Thank you.

I'd guess the screened hole was crafted by some previous owner to vent engine heat.
