window regulators

My 63 has power windows at least partially.  the motors are there but no wires or switches.  Will the manual regulators from another Studebaker work with the Avanti?

I think you have to keep the Avanti window regulators and convert the power window section to manual. I'm sure it could be done. Trial and error, if I was doing it I would start by comparing it to a Lark set up. It may only be the quadrant and arm you need to changeover/modify.

Hate to be negative, but I believe there are major differences between an Avanti and Lark manual window regulator.

Might be easier to just finish the job with switches and wiring. Meyer's probably has the parts. you can order a wiring schematic.

Google Nu-Relic Power Windows. I'm pretty sure they have a setup for Avantis. I've used them for other make cars. Excellent quality. Not cheap. GREAT help over the phone when an issue arises.
