pantera928
I am looking for a Recaro seat frame bottom like the ones that came in the 1979 thru 1982 Avantis. Possibly some more years. These are the simple Recaro seats with only the adjustments for the thigh support, not the fancy ones. I do not care about the cushion or the leather or if there is rust on it. I just want one that is not broken so i can use it with my uphosltery, cushion and seat tracks. Thanks Edited January 26, 2022 by pantera928
Gunslinger
Contact Wedge Engineering...I believe they're in California. They make (or at least made) the seat frames and sliders for Recaro seats for the Avanti. Some years back when I needed those parts they have the plans and make them on order. John C
Hello, Google Aardvark Racing www.2002parts.com He has been rebuilding and selling parts for Recaros for years. I've purchased parts from them in the past and been very satisfied. Good luck with it! John C.
pantera928
Well, I tried all the suggestions and got nowhere so I took the seat apart and went to welding. All good again. Thanks
