Jim78 Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 I am in search of a '63-64 style windshield washer nozzle. Does anyone happen to have the Studebaker part number for this item? Might anyone have one for sale?
Gunslinger Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 When I needed a new one, I bought it from Jon Myers.
J Boyle Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 I've checked the parts manual, I saw the part as part of a breakdown of the windshield washer system but did not see a seperate part number. The entire system was part AC3376. In any event, call Studebaker-International or maybe Nostalgic Motor Cars....
theGman Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 I'll have to call John for one for my '81. They are all the same, aren't they? Pau
Jim78 Posted December 8, 2008 Author Report Posted December 8, 2008 No, they're not all the same. The original design ('63 vintage) was a small chrome bug with two squirter balls. At some point, they changed to a really ugly (IMHO) design that looks like something from the stealth fighter. That is what is currently on my '78 Avanti. I am looking to replace it with one of the original style. I sent Jon Myer an email, but haven't gotten a reply yet.
IndyJimW Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 The one on my '87 looks like the one in the parts manual. Jim Wood
