I think I saw answer to this in the past but does anyone know what kind of electric motor is used for the 83 passenger door window. And where I  can purchase one?

Thank you

  • Jeep Cherokee.

Is that a "Cherokee" or a Grand Cherokee, a different car/body?

Thanks.  I see that it is for the 1984-1986 Cherokee.  It seemed a little expensive until I noticed that the price was for two.

Thank you. I ordered the Jeep motor. Any special modifications or cuts needed to install the motor?

Update- I had a mechanic install the power window regulators and motors from NU- Relics.  They came out just fine and they have a lifetime warranty if you have the receipt.  Thanks for all your help.  The regulator was broken so I decided to go with the NU- Relics kit  for both doors.

Always appreciate your help and advice.
