The story, as I heard it (probably 50 years ago) goes.... Loewy was walking around an Alfa factory at some point and was attracted to the design of a pair of seats that were being removed from a car. He inquired about the seats origin, but not specifically why they were removed from the car. A similar design was used on the two front seats for the new Avanti. It was later revealed that the Alfa seats were being replaced with a better version because they were uncomfortable on long trips..

This is an original R3 air cleaner ( edited) There is no PCV hose attach point..

The install instructions for the master goes through the usual procedure of bench bleeding, etc. Could be that they are just covering the field...

Do the 87 - 91 Avantis have ABS systems? I was just doing a bit of research and noted that ABS systems should never use DOT5 fluid because of foaming..... In fact the install sheets on the masters, say to not even mix DOT3 and 4

Didn't Andy have a large amount of chains and sandbags in the trunk during that run?

Do you know the serial number?

There was a mod to the hood that, the pump inlet fit very close to the opening. The proximity of the FI injection pump and the hood would have prevented any type of filtration.

Do you know the chassis number?

Can you send a picture of what is going on? You do not have calipers. The dunlop system is an iron bridge with 2 piston assemblies for each wheel. The only things that move are the pistons.
