Eightyish Avanti ll power antenna switches were usually located to the .....?..... of the car's steering column.
-
After the fact, Studebaker Avanti designer Bob Andrews would have liked to have seen one major change in the Avanti's frontal design...What was the change?

Avanti designer Bob Andrews once described the rather unusual fuel inlet intrusion into the passenger compartment of a 1963 Studebaker Avanti as .......?.......

With the car jacked up using Jack stands under the a-arms the only play I saw was an up & down from the bellcrank. Â Could this be one of my issues? The A-am bushings look pretty cracked as well.Â
Yes!... the play in the bellcrank is normally the major cause for what you're describing...There should be 'zero' up and down play in steering bellcrank....Also, check tightness of pinch bolt holding bellcrank to center pin.

Yes, true it is!🙂

Paxton Products once offered a 'Brand X' supercharger kit which featured the carb positioned on the INTAKE side of the blower......True?

I had no idea of what it's called. I just made the only word I could think of by changing 2 letters.
Pretty much the area of impeller visibile when viewing supercharger from the rear.
