As part of the Sears/Studebaker Allstate Tire Contest and Transcontinental Record Run, Sears gave away .......?...... new Avantis.

1) 10......2) 12......3) 15.....or.....4) 20

Seems like there were ten, but I may be confusing this with other Avanti giveaways.

There was a run of Avantis all produced the same, same color, same equipment & Allstate tires.  There were quite a few.  These may have been the giveaway cars.  The problem is that I do not remember the number, I am thinking 15 or 20.  I will say 20.
