Avanti Pump!

A generic mechanical fuel pump which comes very close to fitting the Studebaker/Avanti 259-289 CI engines (with mod to its pump arm) was originally designed to fit a ......?....... product.
1) Ford.....2) American Motors.....3) Mercedes.....or.....4) Chrysler

I agree.  In 1991, when I sold my Studebaker parts, I included ten of these NOS.  The parts buyer said that they wouldn't fit his Dodge pickup that had an electric pump.  I guess that he didn't know about the crossover then.
