So what's so special about 1984 Avanti RQB3926...(other than it's a Touring Coupe model!)

3926 is not part of the production run of 50 Touring Coupes.  It is one of the four black coupes built with touring coupe options.  The run of 50 touring Coupes ended 10/31/83.  3926 was built 12/6/83

You are correct about that! ...However, for all intents and purposes 3926 IS a 1984 Avanti Touring Coupe. (3926 was built at Avanti factory with 'ALMOST' all the same specs as the original fifty TC's!)

Now, any idea what's 'especially special' about RQB3926?

It has the 63-64 style front fenders.

RIGHT!....Only Touring Coupe (or Touring Coupe Option) Avanti to be built with '63-'64 Studebaker Avanti fenders!
