Avanti Parts!

Due to the design of the Studebaker Avanti body, some traditional mechanical components had to be re-designed.....one of these items that Studebaker engineers had problems with early on was the.......?.....

1) Avanti fuel tank......2) Avanti cross-flow radiator.......3) Avanti steering column.......or......4) Avanti spark plug wire metal sheilding

I thought that I had answered this when you first asked, but for some reason, my answer did not post.  I think this happens if I try to input a second item too soon after the first.

I'll say the cross flow radiator, something I don't think Studebaker had used before unless in some military vehicles.

studegary is CORRECT here picking the fuel tank.......All Avanti tanks were pressure tested after an early failure!
