r1lark
Having not had or worked on an Avanti, this question caused me to look at some pictures. What confuses me is that I see two indents in the right inner fender panel. The more forward indent (up close to the radiator) I can't figure out what it's for unless it's something to do with the hood hinge clearance. The rearward one looks to be for supercharger clearance, so I'll say the answer you are looking for is #4. Here are a couple of pics that show the indents pretty well: Edited October 25, 2018 by r1lark Spellin'
mfg
r1.......GREAT PICS!! ....Thanks!......and your answer (#4) is CORRECT!......The forward indent is indeed for the hinge, the one behind it is indeed for a Paxton supercharger, and the inner skirt had this indent whether the Avanti came with a blower or not. studegary
The second picture is good. The first picture shows several modifications. Of course, they were both good for the intended purpose.
