mfg Posted September 2, 2018 Report Posted September 2, 2018 Which 1963 (American) passenger car design did Raymond Loewy once say was 'tops', (in his opinion), second only to the 1963 Studebaker Avanti?

It should be the 1953 Studebaker Starliner, but with his taste, it was probably something like the 1963 Buick Riviera.
mfg Posted September 2, 2018 Author Report Posted September 2, 2018 Studegary feels the 1963 American automobile design that R.L. rated second only to the Avanti was the Buick Riviera................ Anyone else have an opinion/guess on this one?

And Studegary is CORRECT here!.....Loewy once said he felt that the 1963 Riviera's styling was second only to the '63 Studebaker Avanti's!
