TMA62
Hello everyone: I have an early 1963 Avanti. The back speaker does not work and the housing cone is ripped. Does anyone rebuild these or should I just buy a new one from SI? What have any of you done? Thanks in advance!
mfg
I think that a new (5x7?) rear seat speaker, as sold by SI, is your best option here!
Gunslinger
Yes...get one from SI as it will have the correct impedance (Ohms rating). You can probably find one at some place like Pep Boys, AutoZone or similar but if you don't know the impedance and get the wrong one, you'll get poor sound quality or little volume. brad
http://www.turnswitch.com/speakers.htm I do know I have used these, and they sounded much better than originals. They have them in the correct impedance.
