Avanti R4130!

Studebaker Avanti R4130 (The Egbert Avanti) has mostly all the 'Bonneville modifications' except for one rather major one.....Which mod is missing?

I will guess differential ratio since he would want a more streetable car.

Air cleaner out the front or wasn't there  water injection or something in one of the front wheel wells.

R4130 has the outside air intake.....Not sure about the 'water injection'...but neither would be the 'missing major mod'.

Would it be that it didn't have the dropped spindles of the salt flat cars. That and no roll bar.

I believe R4130 indeed does have the dropped spindles....however....YOU' NAILED IT' WITH THE MISSING ROLL CAGE.....Well done!

Have seen the roll bar/cage in #8. It is a very nicely fabricated assembly. Excellent welds, socket head cap screws for assembly, well fitted. It is a piece of art in itself for those that recognize what is necessary to accomplish that.
