That bracket may have been added during the production run....I really don't know. However, the 'added item' we're looking for here actually generated a Studebaker service bulletin, and (HINT) was installed during production on and after 63R-3404.
studegary Posted July 10, 2017 Report Posted July 10, 2017 The crank arm to motor shaft nut loosened. An internal-external toothed lock washer was added under the crank arm retaining nut. Besides being phased into production, it could also be added post production.
