mfg
A '63 Studebaker Avanti rear sway bar will not fit onto a '63 GT Hawk.....True?
1963r2
I'm sure anything can be made to fit but the Avanti rear sway bar is different to the Hawk so not a direct swap. True

True I agree! But the Avanti rear bar WILL fit a GT Hawk if the Avanti upper frame brackets are welded to the top of the Hawk frame rails...so I'd say the answer to this question is ..FALSE! lschuc
But really true, since the Avanti rear sway bar will not fit without modification to the Hawk... ie: welding brackets to the top of the Hawk frame rails.

It's true that without those brackets welded to the Hawk the bar cannot be mounted, on the other hand, the bar will physically fit onto the Hawk WITH those brackets installed!.....How about true AND false on this one??!!
