What rather unique method did the Granatellis employ at Bonneville when the need arose to add lube to the standard transmission in one of the Lark speed record cars?

I seem to remember Andy adding STP to prevent them from popping out of gear.

You're correct,....but the question is HOW did they add it? (What's unusual?)

This is the Avanti Forum. I do not see how something that only applies to a Lark belongs here. (Yes, I know that there were standard shift Avantis, but that is not what the question was about.)
