Paint Code for 1988 Avanti Red

Does anyone have the paint code for the red used on 88 Avantis?? My convertible was originally grey but was repainted red by the Avanti factory prior to delivery when new to Jeff Cook of the band Alabama. As a result the paint code on the car itself is for grey and not red. I would like to touch up a few small scratches. Thanks

Well, I finally took it to the Dupont store. They put the scanner on and it is a very very close match to Ferrari Red

Jeff Cook may have owned a Ferrari that he wanted to match (or he just liked the color).

I have a color chip book, Plus, I have a little paint left over from Tom Larners 89 red Avanti. Drop by the shop, and it's yours.

Those paint cameras are amazing....and do an excellent job of automotive color matching!
