mfg
Removing the engine's thermostat from a Studebaker (or Chevy) engined Avanti will not help the engine run cooler.....True?

Avanti83
Just for the record, I know the answer should be true, but as with all of these open ended questions there are scenarios that would make it false and it only takes one instance to do so. mfg
Fairly straightforward question (IMHO) .... Answer.....TRUE!
Gunslinger
All it will do is take the engine longer to reach operating temperature but won't affect whether the has an overheating issue. It will also run richer longer than it would otherwise...plus put increased pollutants until it reaches operating temp.
