mfg Posted Tuesday at 12:54 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 12:54 PM Can anyone name a very obvious cost cutting measure made when the McCulloch VS-57 supercharger was converted by the Granatellis into the Paxton SN-60 supercharger? ( Not referring to elimination of the vari-speed pulley/drive items)

GOOD BITE!!….The McCullochs had a rather elaborate die cast badge or “medallion” covering the solenoid hole. The Paxton rework was reduced to a foil decal…..which looks good, however, was definitely a cost reduction!
mfg Posted 1 hour ago Author Report Posted 1 hour ago As an aside…. Asking prices for used Paxton/McCulloch superchargers on eBay (for example) are going through the roof! I wonder how many perspective buyers realize the ‘can of worms’ they may be purchasing? Buyer beware when considering acquiring one of these 60+ year old used units!
